Get ready for yet another weekend closure on 35W, but it will not be nearly as extensive as the shutdown over the past two weekends.

MNDot says north and southbound lanes will be closed between Fourth Street Southeast in Minneapolis and Highway 36 in Roseville for road resurfacing.

The road will close Friday at 9pm and reopen before 5am Monday.

Westbound Highway 36 to southbound Highway 280 will remain open, but westbound Highway 36 to northbound 35W will remain closed.

Southbound 35W drivers will have access to southbound Highway 280 and can continue on to I-94, but will not be able to access northbound Highway 280 from I-94.

Northbound Highway 280 will remain open to local traffic only from University Avenue to Larpenteur Avenue.

Access to and from 35W between 694 in Arden Hills/New Brighton and County Road C in Roseville also will remain open.

Drivers will be detoured around the construction onto 694, 35E and 94.
