Governor Dayton is set to reveal the economic impact of the Super Bowl in a press conference Tuesday morning.

Super Bowl 52 at US Bank Stadium in February drew hundreds of thousands of people to the Twin Cities for the festivities that started 10 days before kickoff.

The Minneapolis Super Bowl Host Committee estimated that the event would bring over 300-million dollars to the region, including nearly 30-million in tax revenue. It said that would help offset tax payer money invested in the stadium.
Some experts have said the windfall sometimes lands short of the hype.

Minneapolis was on the hook for providing public works, law enforcement and security.
