Authorities Asking for Help in Search for 2-year old Girl Who May be in Minnesota

The parents are believed to be driving a gold, 1996 Ford Aerostar van

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children is asking for the public's help in locating a 2-year old South Carolina girl who may now be in Minnesota.

Director John Bishoff says the child, whose name is Dakota, is believed to be traveling with her parents, who he says are heavy drug users.

Dakota is two feet, six inches tall and weighs 25 pounds and has blonde hair and blue eyes.

According to the NCMC,  the parents' names are Jessica and William. 

Jessica is 36-years-old, '5"2 inches tall and weighs 112 pounds. She has long light brown hair and blue eyes.

William is 44-years-old. He is '6"1 inches tall and weighs 340 pounds. He has light brown hair and brown eyes.

According to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, investigators believe they were last seen at a gas station in Marshall, Minn., on Monday, May 14, and may still be in the state, possibly in the Twin Cites area.
