Minnesota Department of Health announces four more COVID-19 related deaths

Four more people in Minnesota have died from coronavirus, bringing the total to 22. The state department of health’s daily update shows a rise of 45 laboratory-confirmed cases to 789, while 410 of those who were infected have recovered. 86 remain hospitalized, and among that number, 40 are in intensive care.

Community transmission makes up 31 percent of the total cases, the largest percentage of likely exposures in the state. No counties reported their first coronavirus case in the latest state updated, meaning the virus has been found in 56 of Minnesota’s 87 counties.
