Minnesota is joining six other states as part of a coalition that will work together to independently decide when and how to restart each state's economy.  Many states in the US are joining together in similar coalitions, in resistance to a federal call to unilaterally reopen business. In addition to Minnesota, the so-called Midwest Coalition includes Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky.

Wisconsin today extended it's STAY AT HOME order through May 26th.  Notably absent from the Midwest Coalition is Iowa, and North and South Dakota. Those states did NOT issue stay at home orders.
