Another night of shootings in Minneapolis

1 person dead in at least 4 separate shootings

One man was killed Tuesday night as gun violence again tore through Minneapolis streets.

Minneapolis' 30th homicide of the year came on the 2100 block of North Emerson Avenue shortly before 11:20 p.m. According to police, two men were shot while sitting in a car outside of a church. When police arrived, they located the men and transported them to the hospital. One of the men was later pronounced dead and the other suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Shootings began at around 5:20 p.m. Tuesday when a woman was shot at East Phillips Park on the 2300 block of 17th Avenue South.

So far there are no arrests in Tuesday's shootings.
