Law enforcement officials in western Wisconsin say an armed fugitive could be headed to northern Minnesota.

The Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office near Winona says 43-year-old Jonathan Pogreba broke into a cabin in the area.

The manhunt for Pogreba started after a domestic violence incident three days ago. He's accused of pointing a gun at his wife.

A small amount of blood was left at the cabin so investigators think Pogreba may be injured.

A note described his plans to travel to the Boundary Waters area in Minnesota and take off on foot.
