18 people are charged with various counts of robbery in connection with two incidents in downtown Minneapolis.

The incidents happened last month.

Surveillance video caught the first, which happened in broad daylight on August third outside of Target Field.

The video shows about a dozen people trying to take a man's phone, beating and kicking him, tearing off his shoes and pants, running over him with a bike, and leaving him injured on the sidewalk.

The victim was eventually tracked down by police.

The second incident came early in the morning on August 17th, the victim telling police a group surrounded him near Fifth and Hennepin and beat him unconscious.

Of the suspects in the robberies, four of them are 15 years old, the others are old as 27.

Only one person was involved in both crimes.
