A health setback for former US Senator Norm Coleman.

On his Facebook page, Coleman says cancer has re-emerged in his lungs, and he will undergo surgery later this month.

It's been nearly a year since the former St. Paul mayor announced his neck and throat cancer had spread to his lungs, but after chemotherapy, Coleman said the tumor was gone.  Coleman says his next surgery will remove about a quarter of his lungs.

Just over a week ago, Coleman narrowly escaped injury after another boat crashed into his on Lake Ada near Park Rapids.  He had to jump into the water to avoid the other boat.
