A Monday morning court appearance for an 18-year-old man shot by police inside Minneapolis City Hall last December.

Marcus Fischer was being questioned by police for a robbery when officers left him alone in the building's interrogation room. That's when they say he pulled a knife and started cutting himself, slitting his throat and wrists and stabbing himself in the chest.  When officers tried to intervene he lunged at them. That's when police shot him.

Fischer is facing charges having to do with the robbery they were interviewing him about, as well as assault.
