A gruesome scene in River Falls, where a roofer attacked a fellow worker with a circular saw, killing him.

According to Pierce County Sheriff Nancy Hove, it happened Monday afternoon in rural River Falls.

"We had a group of gentlemen who were roofing at a residence in our county," Sheriff Hove said. "One got upset with the other one and went after him with a circular saw."

Deputies arrived to find the victim, identified as 37-year old Israel Valles-Flores of St. Louis, on the roof with severe cuts to his neck and face. He died at the scene.

24-year old Maguel Nabarro, also of St. Louis, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of intentional homicide. He was booked into the Pierce County Jail.

Sheriff Hove says investigators are still looking into what led up to the attack.

"We're still investigating and gathering information. There were several people there, so we are still doing interviews at this time."
