Ramp-up to the 2019 Minnesota State Fair continues at the historic fairgrounds in Falcon Heights.

Among the changes is the name of the old swine barn.

It's now the Robert Christensen Pavilion, with the official ribbon-cutting taking place on Monday.

Christensen was a pork industry pioneer in Minnesota, his business based in Sleepy Eye, and his family provided the lead gift to pay for upgrades to the barn.

The pavilion has long been one of the top attractions at the state fair, and is home to the Oink Booth, and Minnesota's largest boar.
