More rain in the Twin Cities on Saturday

Balsam Lake, Wisc. hit hard on Friday

Strong thunderstorms moving through the Twin Cities metro on Saturday. 

Winds in excess of 40 miles per hour, there is thunder and lightning and pea-sized hail reported.

This storm system is affected much of the Twin Cities metro and as far west as Saint Bonifacious.

The area affected, both Minneapolis and Saint Paul, from Plymouth and Maple Grove to Brooklyn Center and Fridley.

There is a hazardous weather outlook for portions of central and southern Minnesota, and into west-Central Wisconsin.  

That's where there was storm damage yesterday, with trees knocked down in the area of Balsam Lake.  

Some roads in that area remain blocked by blown-down trees.
