Infielder Ehire Adrianza and the Twins agreed to a $1.3 million, one-year contract, a raise of $300,000, while the team planned on signing first baseman C.J. Cron to a one-year, $4.8 million.

The Twins also decided not to offer a contract to Robbie Grossman, ending the outfielder's three-season stint with the team.

Adrianza, 29, hit .251 with six homers and 39 RBIs in 114 games for the Twins this year.

He is eligible for free agency after the 2020 season.

Cron was picked up on waivers by the Twins on Monday from Tampa Bay. He hit 30 homers for the Rays in 2018.

Grossman batted .273 last season for the Twins with five home runs and 48 runs batted in.

The Twins' arbitration-elegible players on the 40-man roster are pitchers Kyle Gibson, Jake Odorizzi, Taylor Rogers, and Trevor May, along with outfielders Byron Buxton, Max Kepler, Eddie Rosario, and infielder Miguel Sano.
