The X Games are underway for a second consecutive year at U.S. Bank Stadium in downtown Minneapolis.

Last year, officials say more than 100,000 people attended the four-day event, and this year even more are expected to see 200 athletes defying gravity and attempting moves that have never been done.

"It's all about progression," X Games spokesman Ryan McGuinness said. "You never know what they're going to do. I think they save their best stuff for this weekend, so we look forward to what they're going to bring, but it's really kind of the youth movement in terms of who's going to be vying for the gold medals this year. We got a lot of younger kids that are up-and-coming that are going to be challenging last year's champions, so it should be interesting to watch."

The games featuring skateboarding, motocross, BMX and more run through Sunday.

Tickets are still available here.
