There have been a lot of bright spots this season for the Minnesota Twins but one of the more pleasant surprises has been the play of rookie 2nd Baseman Luis Arreaz.

Arraez is hitting .355 with three home runs & 19 RBI's He looks like he'll be the Twins 2nd Baseman for the near future. Not too bad for a guy who wasn't listed among the Twins top prospects.

So that begs the question, where did this guy come from?

"Was he ever a Top 10 prospect? The actual answer is no." Seth Stohs from Twins Daily told Cory Hepola on his show Friday morning.

"Prospect lists are based on tools and he has one tool. He has an elite hit tool. He can hit .300. He's hit .320 at every level but he never had good speed, never had good defense, never had a good arm and never had power."

Stohs went on to say that first impressions aren't always what they seem.

"I think he's worked hard. He's in a lot different place than where I first saw him four years ago when he was the youngest player in the Midwest League. He's put in a lot of work & he has earned everything he's received."
